Q: Can lesson be paid by the week? and how does it work?
A: Yes, you have the option to pay weekly. Your Invoice for the term will be sent via e-mail (please check junk mail if not received). If you choose to pay by the term in full prior to the term commencing, you will receive a 5% discount.
If you choose to pay weekly you must pay 1 week in advanced and regular payments must be made weekly or fortnightly with EFTPOS, cash or bank deposit. You will receive an updated invoice after each payment is received via e-mail to show your new balance. This does not apply to adult classes.
If weekly payments become more then 2 weeks in arears without contacting us students will not be able to participate in class until payments are made or payment plan has been arranged.
Q: Do you have any other hidden charges example membership or administration fees?
A: No other fees what so ever you only pay for your classes.
Q: What happens if I miss a class?
A: Missed classes still need to be paid. If there is a place available in another class you can make up your missed class. Make up lessons must taken in the same term same term as to when the class was missed.
Q: What is to be worn to class?
A: Black and White is our club colors anything comfortable.
Hair must be tied back.
Ballet classes students must wear ballet shoes and fitted clothes (no baggy tops or pants).
Tap classes students must wear tap shoes. If you need to purchase tap shoes our preferred color is black.
Jazz students wear black Jazz shoes.
Acrobatics no shoes.
Tiny Tots shoes are not compulsory but is encouraged.
Q: Will TDNA be holding a annual performance/concert?
A: That’s Dance and Acrobatics hold a annual Christmas Concert for friends and family to attend.
Q: Will expensive costumes be required for the concert?
A: Students will need a costume for a performance but they will not be expensive We believe by being creative we can still look great without breaking the bank.
Q: Will there be any exams?
A: No Exams
Q: Will That’s be competing in eisteddfods?
A: We will have eisteddfod groups (Troupe). Students for this class will be selected.
Q: Can parents watch class from inside the studio?
A: No. Parents will need to sit in the waiting room or you can drop off and pick up. The last week in every term is open week this allows family to sit inside to view the lesson.
Q: While attending That’s Dance and Acrobatics can I attend another Dance studio?
A: No, unless you are taking a class else were that That’s Dance and Acrobatics does not offer.
Q: Can I do a Private lesson only?
A: No, you must be enrolled into a class to be able to receive a private lesson at the advertised price. For example if you would like to do a Contemporary private lesson you must already attend a contemporary group class.
Q: Can anyone do Contortion?
A: You need to firstly attend an Acrobatics class at That’s Dance and Acrobatics and meet some flexibility bench marks prior to joining this class. If Contortion is a class you are interested in you are welcome to discuss with Ally what would be required.
Q: What is Pre Contortion?
A: Pre-Contortion: this class is suitable for student who are aspiring to join the contortion class. You need to firstly attend an Acrobatics class at That’s Dance and Acrobatics as this class is an extension to Acro focusing on flexibility. As soon as you meet the flexibility bench marks to start contortion you can transfer to the contortion class.
Q: What age group would my child be in for 2025?
A: Tiny Tots: Start from 2 years.
Mini Movers: Start from Prep age 2019 to 2017
Sub Junior: Born 2015 to 2016
Junior: Born 2013 and 2014
Intermediate: Born 2010 to 2012
Seniors: 2009 and Older
